Touchability™

Well here goes (fears be vanquished/ignored).  I have my friend Bill encouraging and challenging me on the phone as he plays with his 5 and 8 year old boys who are still snugly and comfortable with lots of touch.
In this blog I want to think about our cultural norms in human-to-human touch and relationships and partnerships while being more and more willing to expose my fears to the world as I work/play to change our culture around touch.

  1. This is Rhea,
I also want to think about and challenge our cultural norms/beliefs around touch. That is what made the blind-fold exercise of last weekend so powerful for me! I wanted to touch everyone,..I want to heal and connect and be present in and with my touch. As I discovered through Human Awareness Institute, that is where MY HEART is! That is where I live from, give & receive joy from, etc,..

  3. I facilitate a wondous workshop called Cuddle Party. www.cuddleparty.com that is about communication, boundary setting, relationships and safe, consentual non-sexual touch. It is deeply healing.
